Senate Adjourns in Memory of Hank Lacayo

With a heavy heart, today my colleagues and I adjourned in memory of the late Hank Lacayo on the Senate Floor. Hank spent the better part of a century creating an inclusive support system for progressive leadership in Ventura County and beyond.

He was beloved and respected by many, always connecting individuals and ideas to one another in the spirit of making the world a better place.

I feel very fortunate to have felt the support of Hank and his amazing wife, Leah, and intend to honor his legacy of bringing new leaders and ideas into our progressive pipeline.
